Steelhead Fishing Paradise at your doorstep
Fort Telkwa RV Park sits on a quarter mile of Bulkley river bank, an ideal place for steelhead fishermen to set up camp. Our complimentary easy access boat launch makes putting in for a float to Smithers, or coming out after a float from Quick or Walcott a breeze.
We are situated a mile upstream from where the Telkwa River joins the Bulkley, so our waters run pure and clear in all but the worst of weather. Should the river blow out, it will be fishable sooner here, than below the Telkwa River.
Usually you can fish for Chinook June through August, Pinks start in mid August, Coho start in September and last but not least the Steelhead fishing starts late August/early September.
